KARSAN TO SHOWCASE ITS ATAK ELECTRIC AND JEST ELECTRIC LINE OF BUSES AT BUSWORLD EUROPE!
After fifty years in business and taking firm steps towards becoming a global brand, Karsan, Turkey’s top domestic producer, is preparing to make an appearance in Busworld Europe with its innovative technologies that keep up with the times. Preparing to showcase its range of electric vehicles in the international bus fair Busworld Europe to be held in Brussels between October 18 and 23, Karsan will be introducing its electrically powered product line, Atak Electric and Jest Electric, both of which are powered by BMW batteries.
One of the largest fairs of the bus world, Busworld Europe will be held in Brussels between October 18 and 23. Domestic manufacturer Karsan is preparing to attend the fair to be held for the 25th time this year with its innovative and environmentally friendly product line of electrically powered vehicles. Planning to display the newest product of its global cooperation with BMW, Atak Electric, for the first time in an international fair, Karsan will also introduce its Jest Electric model, which attracts attention with its unique sizes and superior technology. At the Busworld Europe which is expected to draw thousands of people from approximately 33 countries, Karsan will showcase its line of electrically powered vehicles produced with modern innovative technologies.
Launched earlier this year and mass produced already, Karsan’s Atak Electric line of vehicles will premiere on the global stage at the Busworld Europe. Running on a total 220 kWh battery capacity with five 44-kWh batteries developed by BMW, Atak Electric boasts a unique 300 km range outperforming its rivals. The vehicle’s batteries can be charged in 5 hours with AC charging, and in 3 hours with fast-charging units. Equipped with a BMW electric motor producing 170 HP power and 290 Nm torque with optional 44 or 88 kWh batteries, Jest Electric offers the best performance in its class with a range of up to 210 km.
