Karsan becomes 50 percent shareholder of HCI, its distributor in France!
Offering modern solutions for public transport, Karsan pushes forward with its investments to expand its product and service network and boost its already robust sales to overseas markets. Karsan signed a partnership agreement with its French-based distributor HCI (Hervouet Corporate Industry) and became a 50 percent shareholder. Aiming to increase its market share in the French market with the new partnership, Karsan will be allowed to bid for public tenders in France. The Deputy GM of Karsan Commercial Affairs, Muzaffer Arpacıoğlu, commented: "HCI's know-how and its experience in the French market coupled with its extensive client portfolio will contribute to Karsan's development in this market. Our Jest Electric and Atak Electric vehicles with their compact dimensions of 6 and 8 meters are especially in high demand in France, where we wish to see more of our range of electrical products on the roads. We have already received 13 orders for electric vehicles from this market.”
Karsan, the only independent manufacturer of multi-brand vehicles in the country, has signed an important agreement as part of its overseas operations. "HCI's know-how and its experience in the French market coupled with its extensive client portfolio will contribute to Karsan's development in this market. We intend to do business with major corporations such as Transdev, RATP and Keolis as well as local companies.
