10 Karsan Jest Electric
Buses Now in Service in Suceava!

Offering modern solutions that can be adapted to every city with its innovative vehicles for public transportation systems, Karsan continues to support the public transportation of European cities thanks to its electrical product range. Upon winning the electrical minibus tender held for the city of Suceava in Romania last year, Karsan delivered 10 Jest Electric vehicles to the city. In addition to 10 Jest Electric buses in service, Karsan also received an order for 7 Jest Electric buses which were included in the tender contract as an option. Karsan will deliver these vehicles to the municipality of the city in the first quarter of 2021. 

With a factory based in Turkey, Karsan offers transportation solutions that meet the mobility needs of the age and continues to deliver its electric vehicles to the cities of different countries. Upon winning the electrical minibus tender held for the city of Suceava in Romania last year, Karsan delivered 10 Jest Electric vehicles to the city, as per the contract. Karsan hits the roads in different cities of Romania and currently provides service with its 5 Jest Electric vehicles in Suceava, and its fleet has reached 15 vehicles. Karsan also received an order for 7 Jest Electric buses which were included in the relevant tender contract as an option, and it aims to deliver these vehicles during the first quarter of 2021. The delivery will be carried out by the Romanian distributor of Karsan, Anadolu Automobil Rom, and the Jest Electric vehicles will start providing service in Suceava municipality in Romania.

Jest Electric offers high performance and eco-friendly service!

A proven performer which comes with high maneuverability and passenger comfort, Jest Electric is equipped with a BMW electric motor capable of 170 HP power and 290 Nm torque with optional 44 or 88 kWh batteries, also made by BMW. Offering the best performance in the 6-meter bus class with a range of up to 210 km, small city bus Jest Electric also boasts a regenerative braking system which provides energy recovery by enabling the batteries to self-recharge at a rate of 25%. Decorated with a 10.1-inch multimedia touchscreen, fully digital dashboard, keyless go, and USB ports as well as an optional WiFi compatible infrastructure, Jest Electric does not come short in terms of comfort compared to passenger cars thanks to its 4-wheel independent suspension system.
