Two New Global Awards for Karsan!


 

Offering high-tech mobility solutions with the vision of being "One Step Ahead in the Future of Mobility", Karsan continues to crown its achievements by winning two more prestigious awards. Karsan got the top place with the "Karsan Electric Evolution" strategy on its journey of electric transformation in the "Outstanding Business Transformation" category of the "Global Business Excellence" awards, where a jury of quite wide and independent experts determined the brands that perform their work flawlessly. However, with "Karsan Autonomous e-ATAK", the brand managed to win another award in the category of "Outstanding Innovation". 

Karsan CEO Okan Baş made a statement about the awards and said, "We are proud to win another prestigious award after the Sustainable Bus of The Year 2023, which we won with our 12-meter electric e-ATA model. In this competition, we achieved many firsts in Europe and America in the category of "Outstanding Innovation" and received an award with our Autonomous e-ATAK project, which currently carries passengers on a real route. In the "Outstanding Business Transformation" category, we have won an award with our Karsan Electric Evolution strategy, which started in the last 5 years with e-JEST, and followed by e-ATAK, Autonomous e-ATAK, and then with our 10-12-18 meter e-ATA models that we led the electric mobility transformation. These awards are of particular importance to us as they are one of the world's highest-profile awards. The common point of the awards is that the winning companies are really the best in their business. Drawing attention with its high-tech mobility solutions, Karsan won another prestigious award after the Sustainable Bus of The Year 2023, which the brand won with its e-ATA model. Karsan, who won in the "Outstanding Business Transformation" category of the 2022 "Global Business Excellence" Awards, also managed to achieve the top place in the "Outstanding Innovation" category with its autonomous e-ATAK. "Global Business Excellence" awards, which have a quite wide and independent jury of experts, determine the winners according to challenging criteria for each category and industry by considering financial results, innovation, customer, employee, investor, and social benefit.

Citing his views on Karsan, which got the top place in the category of Outstanding Business Transformation, the jury president said, "Turkey's commercial vehicle manufacturer Karsan has made significant progress with its innovative technologies in the last 5 years and has become the pioneer of electric evolution in public transportation. The company is leading the way with the latest electric and autonomous vehicle technologies being used worldwide. We congratulate Karsan for being the first and only European brand to introduce an electric product range of all sizes to the market in public transportation, including a driverless electric bus, and for pioneering the future of transportation."
