Karsan's 12-Meter Electric Model e-ATA Has Been Awarded as the "Bus of the Year" in Europe!

Offering high-tech mobility solutions with the vision of "One Step Ahead in the Future of Mobility", Karsan has achieved yet another success  by winning  an award at Sustainable Bus of The Year 2023 , which is among the most prestigious organizations of Europe in the field of mobility solutions regarding the future. 
Karsan’s 12-meter electric e-ATA model has been awarded as the "bus of the year" in the category of "urban public transportation".

Emphasizing that they have reached significant successes on a global scale with the vehicles they produce thanks to high-tech mobility solutions, Karsan CEO Okan Baş said, “As the result of the ambitious steps we have taken with our innovative and environmentally friendly products, we have achieved a stable growth both in Turkey and abroad. We have taken part in fairs in Milano and Rimini with our electric vehicles in order to move our ambitious growth targets further throughout Europe, especially in Italy, which is our main target market. Now, we are returning from the Next Mobility Expo in Milano with the 'bus of the year' award. This award, of which we are considered worthy, has a special importance for both our company and our industry."

One of the leading players of the zero emission transformation in public transportation, Karsan has achieved another important success in Europe by returning with an award from "Sustainable Bus of The Year 2023", which is among the most prestigious organizations in the field of mobility solutions regarding the future. In this context, the company's the 12-meter electric e-ATA model has been considered worthy of the "bus of the year" by winning the "urban public transportation" category of the "Sustainable Bus of The Year 2023" award. The award was presented to Okan Baş, CEO of Karsan, at the ceremony held at the Next Mobility Expo Fair in Milano.

Karsan geared up abroad as well!
Speaking at the ceremony, Karsan CEO Okan Baş said that they have achieved significant successes with their vehicles thanks to the high-tech mobility solutions. Emphasizing that Karsan has come to the fore with its solutions for public transportation systems all over the world, Okan Baş stated that their export targets have also been rapidly increasing as a result.

Saying, “As the result of the ambitious steps we have taken with our innovative and environmentally friendly products, we have achieved a stable growth in Europe,” Okan Baş expressed that, “In Europe; we have taken our targets further”. We have really stepped up the gear especially in Italy, which is among our main target markets. The tender, which we have recently won for the public transport systems of Bologna city in particular, is also included among the evidences that we have been proceeding towards our goal with the firm steps. Within the framework of our goals, we have taken part in the fairs in Milano and Rimini with our electric vehicles. And now, we are returning from the Next Mobility Expo Fair in Milano with an award that has made our company proud. This award, of which we have been considered worthy with our originally electric 12-meter e-ATA model that has surpassed its competitors with its superior features, has a special importance both for our company and our industry. Okan Baş, who thanked the jury members that made detailed examinations within the scope of the organization, also expressed their desire to continue the trend of successful results Karsan has achieved globally. 

Jury members tested Karsan e-ATA in person!
The 12-meter e-ATA, which passed the preliminary qualification and got to the finals after the evaluations carried out within the scope of the award, was tested by the Sustainable Bus jury members in person during the factory visit to Karsan in Bursa. The jury evaluated the vehicles nominated for the award with a wide list of criteria such as sustainability, design, energy consumption, emissions, safety, comfort, silent operation and more. After the evaluations, the 12-meter Karsan e-ATA has surpassed its competitors in terms of sustainable public transportation with its many outstanding features such as sustainability, born electric design, full low-floor that allows elderly and disabled passengers to move effortlessly without encountering any steps, the best range of its class, ultra-low energy consumption and high passenger capacity. Thus, Karsan's 12-meter electric e-ATA model has become the winner of the award in the category of urban public transportation.
